LEIGH VANDEHEI COMMITS TO BUTLER UNIVERSITY!

Leigh VandeHei, a Junior at Saint Charles North High School, has verbally committed to continue her academic and athletic career at Butler University, beginning the fall of 2023.

Leigh is an outfielder and slapper/triple threat who plays for the 18u Dennison Silver Hawks and Saint Charles North North Stars.
While her Freshman year was canceled due to Covid-19, she led her team in many categories her sophomore year at Saint Charles North including: BA-.500; OBP-.510; SLG-.788; OPS-1.298; Hits-34, including 1 double, 5 triples, and 2 HR's; 27 runs scored; and 19 for 19 on stolen base attempts. She was selected Unanimous All-Conference for the DuKane conference, Academic All-Conference, named All-Area First Team for Kane County, All-Area First Team by the Chicago Tribune, and named Class 4A All-State Second Team. Her High School team battled their way to a 2021 Regional and Sectional Championship.

In the classroom, Leigh has a 5.5/5.0 GPA earning her High Honor Roll and Academic All-Conference. She is also in leadership roles for multiple clubs such as Captains Council for Scholar Athletes, Vice President of Voluntourism Club and Vice President of Spanish National Honors Society.

Kailey Plank, a Kaneland High School graduate, has committed to continue her academic and athletic career at Winona State University!

ELLIE ALVAREZ COMMITS TO BELLARMINE UNIVERSITY!

Ellie Alvarez, a senior at Yorkville High School, has verbally committed to continue her academic and athletic career at Bellarmine University, beginning the fall of 2022.  

Ellie is a short stop and utility player for the 18U Dennison Silver Hawks and Yorkville Foxes.  As a freshman and sophomore in high school, Ellie was a two-sport athlete competing in softball and basketball.  

A three-year varsity starter, Ellie was the 2021 South Prairie West Conference top hitter, leading the Foxes to their first ever conference, regional, and sectional championships.  Ellie was also the 2021 Yorkville High School Offensive Player of the Year earning First Team All-Conference, The Record Newspaper 1st Team All-Area, and the Chicago Tribune 1st Team All-Area honors.  

In the classroom, Ellie has a 4.20/4.0 GPA earning her High Honor Roll and Scholar Athlete recognition.  She is also a member of the Student Athlete Leadership Team and the Superintendent Student Advisory Council.

MACKENZIE BARRY COMMITS TO NORTHERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY!

Mackenzie Barry, a senior at Loyola Academy, has verbally committed to continue her academic and athletic career at Northern Illinois University in the fall of 2022.  

Mackenzie is a pitcher and first baseman on the 18U Silver Hawks Dennison team as well as for her Varsity team at Loyola Academy, where she is academically a Loyola Scholar.  While at Northern Illinois she plans to major in Elementary Education.

At Loyola Academy, Mackenzie has pitched for the Varsity team since her Freshman year.  As a Freshman she was selected to the 22nd Century Media All Area First Team.  This past year, as a Junior, she was chosen as team MVP, All Conference for the GCAC Red Conference, Chicago Tribune/Pioneer Press All Area First Team, and 4A Third Team All State. 

In addition to softball Mackenzie played volleyball her Freshman and Sophomore years and is a member of the LA Way Leadership Program as well as the Hope Squad which is a peer suicide prevention program.

SAMMY JIMENEZ COMMITS TO TUSCULUM UNIVERSITY!

Sammy Jimenez, a Junior at South Elgin High School verbally committed to continue her academic and athletic career at Tusculum University beginning the Fall of 2022. 

Sammy is a catcher, 3rd baseman, Utility Player for the 18U Silver Hawks-Dennison. As a freshman in high school, Sammy was a three sport Varsity athlete and the starting third baseman for the SEHS Storm Softball team. In 2020, Sammy became an IHSA  Coed Cheer State Champion. Academically, Sammy maintains a 4.3/4.0 GPA.  She is also a member of the SEHS Storm Student Athlete Leadership Team and has earned  multiple Academic - All Conference Awards. 

Sammy plans to major in psychology and minor in education with the goal of becoming a high school teacher.

MEGAN KENNEDY COMMITS TO NORTHERN KENTUCKY UNIVERSITY

Megan Kennedy, a senior at Waubonsie Valley High School, has verbally committed to continue her academic and athletic career at Northern Kentucky University in the fall of 2022.  

Megan has been playing competitive travel softball since 10u and is a utility player usually playing OF, 1B or 3B for her travel and High School teams.   Megan currently holds a 3.93/4.0 GPA and plans to pursue a career in Finance as a Finance Major at Northern Kentucky.

While at Waubonsie Valley Megan has earned All  Conference each of her 2 years as a Freshmen and Junior with her sophomore season being cancelled due to Covid. She also earned All Area her most recent Junior season.

In addition to softball Megan has participated in student organizations such as Student Council, Link Crew and Key Club to help mentor the incoming Freshmen classes.

ASHLEE CHANTOS COMMITS TO WINONA STATE UNIVERSITY!

Ashlee Chantos has played with the Dennison Silver Hawks since 14U.  She is a senior at St. Charles North High School and has signed to continue her academic and athletic career at Winona State University beginning in the fall of 2022.

Ashlee is an outfielder and middle infielder for the 18U Dennison Silver Hawks.  Ashlee was on Varsity every year in High School. She was the starting second baseman her freshman year, and then started in the outfield her Junior and Senior year. Due to COVID 19 she missed her sophomore year. Throughout her years at St. Charles North she was selected as:  Unanimous All-Conference (DuKane Conference), named All-Area First Team by the Kane County Chronicle, All-Area First Team by the Chicago Tribune, and All-Area First Team by the Daily Herald.  Additionally, she was named Class 4A ICA First Team ALL-STATE.  In 2022, as a team Captain, she helped lead her team to a Conference, Regional, Sectional, Super-Sectional, and STATE Championship.  In 2021 her High School team battled their way to a Regional and Sectional Championship.

Ashlee plans to major in mathematics and minor in education with the goal of becoming a high school teacher with the hopes of coaching her own varsity team someday.  GO WARRIORS!

MORGAN ROBERTSON COMMITS TO BUTLER UNIVERSITY!

Morgan Robertson, a Junior at Oswego East Hight School, has verbally committed to continue her academic and athletic career at Butler University, beginning in the fall of 2022. After attending her first Butler Softball camp at 11 years old, has dreamt of the opportunity to become a Butler Bulldog!

On the softball field, Morgan is a lefty catcher and first baseman, and is playing in her first season with the 16U Silver Hawks-Dennison team. In the classroom, Morgan maintains a 3.6 GPA and plans to pursue a degree in Business Administration and Marketing.

After sitting out her Freshman season at Oswego East H.S. while recovering from shoulder surgery, Morgan made the Varsity team as a sophomore, but was not able to see the field Spring due to Covid-19 – she’s excited to play for her high school this spring!

ABBEY NESNIDAL COMMITS TO BELLARMINE UNIVERSITY!

*Class of 2022 at Harry D. Jacobs High School in Algonquin, IL. (Northwest Chicago Suburbs).

*Varsity Softball starter

*2019 Freshman Year Batted .347 with 33 hits

*2020 Covid-no season

*2021 Junior Year Batted .457 with 48 hits and 5 homeruns. Pitched 78 innings with 168 strikeouts and a 1.698 ERA. Earned All-Conference in the Fox Valley Conference, Beacon News/Courier News All Area First Team, and IHSA All-State Third Team.

Played 5 seasons of travel softball with the Dennison Silverhawks where in Fall of 2020 she had her best season recording an ERA of .712 in 59 innings pitched with 84 strikeouts and batted .425 with a .740 slugging percentage. 

Abbey is a full-time dual credit student at the Elgin Community College and will graduate in May 2022 with both her high school diploma and Associate of Arts Degree before heading to Bellarmine University in Louisville, KY to study Actuarial Science. 

AVERY NEHRING COMMITS TO ROCK VALLEY

Avery Nehring, a senior at Yorkville High School, has committed to continue her academic and athletic career at Rock Valley College, beginning the fall of 2022.

Avery is a catcher and third baseman for the 18U Dennison Silver Hawks and Yorkville Foxes.  As a freshman and sophomore in high school, Avery was a two sport athlete competing in softball and volleyball.  

A four-year varsity starter, Avery was a key component to the Yorkville Foxes first ever conference, regional, and sectional championship in 2021.  Avery was named to the 2021 Southwest Prairie All Conference Team and named to the 2021 Shaw Media All Area Team.  

In the classroom, Avery is a member of the National Honors Society, the Student Athlete Leadership Team, and was named to the 2021 Southwest Prairie All Academic Team.

BRI PECHMAN COMMITS TO NORTHERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY!

Brianna Pechman, a senior at West Chicago Community High School, committed to pursue her academic and athletic career at Northern Illinois University beginning in the fall of 2022. 

Brianna, a slapper and outfielder, has played for the Silverhawks for 5 years. In high school, Brianna is a 3x All-Conference, 3x Academic All-Conference, 2x All-Area, Upstate Eight Conference Player of the Year, WCCHS Athlete of the Year, and All-State recipient as a 4 year member of the Varsity softball team. In addition, she played for the varsity volleyball team for 3 years (soph-sr) earning 2x Academic All-Conference and All-Conference as a junior and senior. Bri holds 6 school records, 5 for softball (SB, AVG, OBP, runs, & hits) and 1 for track (4x100 relay). 

Academically, Brianna has maintained a 5.0+ GPA all four years, graduating first in her class with highest distinction. She plans to study political science/pre-law at NIU.

EMILY HURST COMMITS TO WAUBONSEE COMMUNITY COLLEGE

Emily Hurst, a senior at Rosary High School, has verbally committed to continue her academic and athletic career at Waubonsee Community College, to play softball and basketball, in the fall of 2022.

Emily plays Shortstop and 3rd base on the 18u Silver Hawks Dennison team as well as Rosary’s varsity team. Emily has started on Rosary’s high school’s varsity softball team since her freshman year. She was an Honorable mention her freshman year. Her junior year, she was chosen to be MVP, All Conference, and All Area Third Team. Emily also plays basketball and has been a starter since sophomore year and was chosen to be MVP her senior year, and All Conference and made All Area Team her junior and senior year. 

Emily is undecided in her major but is super excited to attend Waubonsee Community College and play basketball and softball next fall. 

AUDREY MAGNUS COMMITS TO BELLARMINE UNIVERSITY!

Audrey Magnus, a Junior at Whitney M Young Magnet High School, has verbally committed to continue her academic and softball career at Bellarmine University beginning in the Fall of 2022.

Audrey is a Third basemen, Catcher and First basemen for 18U Silver Hawks Dennison-Thomas and at Whitney M Young Magnet high School. In the classroom Audrey maintains a weighted GPA of 4.4/4.0.  She will major in Nursing and would like to be a Pediatric Nurse.

At Whitney Young, Audrey has been a varsity starter since her Freshman year.  In her Freshman year she helped her team reach the 4A state super sectional game.  This is the furthest any Chicago Public School has have reached in the State tournament.

2021 Commitments


KK RAYMOND COMMITS TO UNIVERSITY OF ST. THOMAS!

Kaitlyn (KK) Raymond, a senior at Loyola Academy High School, has committed to continue her academic and softball career at the University of St. Thomas beginning in the Fall of 2021. 

KK is an outfielder for the Silver Hawks and at Loyola Academy High School. In the classroom, KK maintains a 4.0 GPA and is a member of the National Honors Society.

At Loyola Academy, KK has been a varsity starter since her freshman year. As a freshman, she was a team captain and earned honors of Rookie of the Year along with All Conference and All Area.

As a sophomore she was a team captain, led the team in stolen bases and had the highest batting average on the team. KK earned All Conference honors and was selected to the 22nd Century Media All Area Team. 

In addition to softball, KK also plays varsity volleyball at Loyola Academy. KK plans to pursue a degree in Occupational Therapy.

CASSIDY CARBY COMMITS TO UNIVERSITY OF ST. THOMAS!

Cassidy Carby, a senior at Batavia High School, has verbally committed to continue her academic and softball career at the University of St. Thomas beginning in the Fall of 2021.

Cassidy is a catcher, infielder and outfielder for the 18U Silver Hawks Dennison and at Batavia High School. In the classroom, Cassidy maintains a weighted GPA of 4.04 and plans on pursuing a degree in the Mathematics. 

At Batavia High School, Cassidy has been a varsity starter since her freshman year. She earned All-Area Chicago and voted team MVP her freshman year by leading the team in batting average and home runs. She also earned All Academic and All Conference her freshman and sophomore years. Her sophomore year she was All-Area Honorable Mention by Kane County Chronicle & Beacon News.

KENDALL JOHNSON COMMITS TO SAINT LOUIS UNIVERSITY!

Kendall Johnson, a junior at Hononegah Community High School, has verbally committed to continue her academic and softball career at Saint Louis University.  Kendall plays infield for the 18U Dennison/McNulty Silver Hawks and her high school team.

As a varsity starter her freshman and sophomore seasons, Kendall helped lead the Indians to back-to-back NIC-10 conference titles.  She earned All-Area accolades her sophomore season by helping her team to a 32-5 (18-0) record, during which she led the team in hits (53), doubles (15), steals (18), and defensive assists (58), while committing only 2 errors.  In the post-season, she helped the Indians win their first 4A Regional title in 5 years by leading the team in batting average, hits, runs scored, and defensive assists.  

Kendall maintains a 4.5 GPA in the classroom and plans on pursuing a degree in the healthcare field.  She enjoys volunteering for Rockford Sharefest community improvement projects and the holiday Stroll-on-State, as well as during church youth groups community service events.

KATI GHEORGHE COMMITS TO UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN-PARKSIDE!

Kati Gheorghe, a senior at St. Charles East High School,  committed to continuing her academic and athletic career at UW-Parkside. Kati is a utility player who specializes in middle infield.

Over the past four years, Kati has been the starting shortstop at St. Charles East. Freshman year, Kati helped her team win conference, going 24-7, and her sophomore year they finished second in state.

Kati has a 4.4 GPA and is a member of S.A.L.T. (Student Athletic Leadership Training). Kati has been a student athletic trainer for the past two year and is also a leader for the Peer Leadership program.

In her free time, Kati enjoys working out/hitting, coaching little girls softball teams  and running softball camps at her high school for the younger generations!

Kati is considering studying in physical therapy, sports management or sports medicine.

LAUREN SENA COMMITS TO VALPARASIO UNIVERSITY!

Lauren Sena, a junior at McHenry West H.S., has verbally committed to continue her academic and softball career at Valparaiso University, beginning in the fall of 2021. Lauren is an outfielder for the 18U Dennison-McNulty Silver Hawks team, entering her fourth year with the program. 

In the classroom, Lauren maintains a 4.4 GPA and is a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society. 
As a varsity starter for her high school team since freshman year, she is primarily an outfielder and occasionally pitches. She helped lead the Warriors to consecutive Class 4A Regional titles in 2018 and 2019. In addition to softball, she also plays varsity volleyball for McHenry, as well as club volleyball on the national level for the past three years.  Lauren is excited and proud to be a Crusader, and is considering a major in either Art or Integrated Business and Engineering at Valparaiso. Go Crusaders!!

BROOKE WINTLEND COMMITS TO UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN GREEN BAY!

Brooke Wintlend, a senior at Hononegah High School, verbally committed to continue her academic and softball career at the University of Wisconsin- Green Bay. Brooke is a catcher and first baseman for her high school team and the 18U Silver Hawks. In the classroom Brooke maintains a 4.1 GPA and plans to major in Pre-medicine and pursue a graduate degree in Sports Medicine.  Go Phoenix! 

ELISE MAGNUS COMMITS TO DAVENPORT UNIVERSITY!

Elise Magnus, a senior at Whitney M Young Magnet High School, has verbally committed to continue her academic and softball career at Davenport University beginning in the Fall of 2020.
 

Elise is a Pitcher and First basemen for Silver Hawks Dennison/McNulty and at Whitney Young High School. In the classroom Elise maintains a 4.33 GPA.  She will major in Computer Forensics and her goal is to work for the FBI.

At Whitney Young, Elise is a varsity starter. In a shortened 2018 season she posted a 10-4 record with a 1.97 ERA, along with 97 strikeouts over 67.2 innings.

ABBEY KUEHNER (2020) COMMITS TO QUINCY UNIVERSITY!!!

Abbey Kuehner, a senior at Oswego High School, verbally committed December 2018 to continue her academic and softball career at Quincy University.

Abbey is a pitcher and first baseman for her high school team and the 18U Silver Hawks. In the classroom Abbey maintains a 3.9 GPA and plans to major in Exercise Science and pursue a graduate degree in Athletic Training.

Abbey is involved with the LIL STARS program which is a local non for profit that distributes gently used sporting equipment to kids in the community. Abbey is a member of the Athletic Leadership Council at Oswego High School and also helps coach young softball pitchers in the community.

She is so thankful to Jesus for giving her the ability to play this amazing game and looks forward to her future as a QU Hawk.

KARLI SPAID (2020) COMMITS TO MIAMI OHIO UNIVERSITY!!!

Karli Spaid, a senior at Lane Tech College Prep High School, verbally committed as a junior in July of 2019, to continue her academic and softball career at Miami Ohio University in the fall of 2020. Karli plays shortstop and outfield for  the Dennison/McNulty 18U Silver Hawks team and her high school team.  
 
At Lane Tech, Karli has been a Varsity starter as a freshman and sophomore.  During her 2 years at Lane, she has a career batting average of .571 , has hit a total of 30 home runs, stole 58 bases, and has a slugging percentage of 1.267.  Karli helped Lane Tech win a CPS City championship in 2018, a 2nd place finish in 2017, and a regional title in the class 4a state playoffs (2017).  She has been named All Conference (2017, 2018) All City (2017, 2018), IHSA 3rd team All State 4a (2017) and second team All State (2018).
In the classroom, Karli has a 4.2 GPA and plans to Major in Business at Miami Ohio.

RISSA BAJUSZ COMMITS TO WESTERN MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY!!!

Rissa Bajusz, a senior at Metea Valley High School, verbally committed to continue her academic and softball career at Western Michigan University in the fall of 2020. 

Rissa is a pitcher, first basemen and outfielder for Silver Hawks Dennison/McNulty and her high school team. In the classroom Rissa maintains a 4.14 GPA.

Rissa is involved in FCA, Student Gov, and Student Athlete Leadership Training (S.A.L.T) at her high school.

In her high school softball career, she received Academic All-Conference, All Conference (16-17 & 17-18), Daily Herald All-Area (16-17 & 17-18), and the school strikeout record for a single season (16-17 & 17-18). Her freshman year she helped lead the team to their first conference win of school history. She threw a no-hitter on 5/16/2018. 

She is looking forward to playing at the next level and becoming a Bronco!

TEAGAN O'RILLEY (2020) COMMITS TO BUTLER UNIVERSITY!!!

Teagan, a senior at Huntley High School, has committed to continue her academic and softball career at Butler University. Previously committed to UW Green Bay, her recruiting opened back up with the displacement of the GB coach. She is BEYOND excited to play for an outstanding institution such as Butler!!! Playing together with another Silver Hawk is icing on the cake! (#33) 

Teagan will be the only 4 year varsity player at HHS, starting as a freshman. Huntley won the 4A high school State Championship for the 2018-19 season!!! Complete team effort! Incredible!!! Teagan broke the single season HR record and the walk record as well at HHS. Accolades include: 2nd team All State, All Area, All Conference, and Northwest Herald Player of the Week.

This will be Teagan’s 4th year as a Silver Hawk, and there is no better place to play!!!!

HALEY TRELA (2020) COMMITS TO BUTLER UNIVERSITY!

Haley Trela, a senior at Sycamore High School, a is right-handed third baseman and shortstop and a member of the 18U Silver Hawks. Haley verbally committed in July of 2019 to continue her academic and softball career at Butler University.

In her second season with the Sycamore Spartans, Haley helped lead her varsity softball team to their first conference championship since 2002. In the 2018-19 season, she helped lead the team to a 3A State Championship!! Haley was named offensive and defensive MVP of her high school team, received the All-Conference Honors award, and 1st team All-State 3A. Haley has volunteered at Tails, a local humane society in Sycamore, and has participated in Feed My Starving Children for many years. She feels blessed to have been given the opportunity to continue to play the game that she loves at Butler University.

MARISA MICHI COMMITS TO AVE MARIA UNIVERSITY!

Marisa Michi, a senior at Loyola Academy High School, has  committed to continue her academic and softball career at Ave Maria University beginning in the Fall of 2020.

Marisa is a middle infielder  and outfielder for Silver Hawks Dennison/McNulty and at Loyola Academy High School.  Marisa maintains a 4.0 GPA in the classroom.

At Loyola Academy, Marisa has been a varsity starter since freshman year. She has been named team captain (2018, 2019), GCAC All Conference (2018,2019), All Area (2018, 2019), and Offensive Player of the Year (2018, 2019). Also in her 2019 season she was voted 22nd Media Player of the Year.

GWEN MALECKE COMMITS TO BELLARMINE UNIVERSITY!

Gwen Malecke, a senior at Hampshire High School, has committed to play softball at Bellarmine University out of Louisville, Kentucky. She plans to major in special education. Gwen is a utility player for the 18U Dennison-McNulty Silver Hawks. She was named most versatile player for her high school team. She is apart of National Honors Society at Hampshire High School as well as Spanish Club. Gwen enjoys volunteering at Prairiewood Elementary School, Huntley Animal Shelter, and being an assistant coach for the 14U Wasco/Silver Hawks semi-travel team.

Gwen would like to thank all of her teammates and coaches for helping her reach her goal of playing college softball. Go Knights!!

CASEY BRENNAN (2019) COMMITS TO QUINCY UNIVERSITY!!!

Casey Brennan, a senior at South Elgin High School, verbally committed to Quincy University.

Written by John Lemon of the Daily Herald, "A dynamo in center field who took away hits in the gap and cut down runners taking an extra base with her rocket arm."

Casey is a center fielder for the South Elgin Storm and the 18u Dennison SilverHawks.

LAUREN AUBREY (2019) COMMITS TO ST. FRANCIS UNIVERSITY (PA)!!!

Lauren Aubry, a 2019 Graduate of Marengo Community High School, has committed to play softball at Saint Francis University in Loretto, PA where she plans to pursue a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree.

Lauren was a 4 year, 3 sport Varsity athlete (volleyball, basketball, softball) and a 4 year varsity softball starter (C, SS).  Lauren helped lead her High School Softball team, through 2018, to three Conference Championships (2016, 2017, 2018), three IHSA Class 3A Regional Championships (2016, 2017, 2018), 2016 IHSA Class 3A Sectional Runner-Up, 2017 IHSA Class 3A Sectional Champions, 2017 IHSA Class 3A Super-Sectional Champions, and 2017 IHSA Class 3A State Champions.  She was named as a 2018 All-Area Team, Honorable Mention player.  She also helped her team win two IHSA Regional Basketball Championships (2018, 2019) and was an All-Conference Basketball player.  Lauren also volunteers to coach young players in the Marengo-Union Girls Softball program.

Academically, Lauren is a member of the National Honor Society, Illinois State Scholar and has earned High Honor Roll for four years with a cumulative GPA of 4.1 out of 4.0.

EMMA HILL (2019) COMMITS TO PURDUE NORTHWEST!!!

A senior at Cary-Grove High School, Emma Hill has committed to play softball at Purdue University Northwest. 

Emma is a pitcher and first baseman for her high school team and the 18u Dennison Silver Hawks. A four year varsity starter, she served as team captain in 2018 and was awarded Most Valuable Player and Defensive Player of the Year. Emma was named 4/19/18 Northwest Herald Athlete of the Week, 2018 All-Fox Valley Conference Team and 2018 All-Area Honorable Mention. A member of the National Honor Society and an Illinois State Scholar, she has received High Honor Roll all four years and has a cumulative GPA of 4.5 out of 4.0.

Emma plans to pursue a degree in civil engineering.

CHRISTINA TONIOLO (2019) COMMITS TO UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS-CHICAGO

Christina Toniolo, is a right handed pitcher/first baseman, a senior at Crystal Lake South High School, and a member of the Dennison Silver Hawks.  She has committed to continuing her education and softball careers at the University of Illinois at Chicago in the fall of 2019.

In the classroom, Christina currently is a High Honors achiever with a GPA of 3.85/4.0, a member of S.A.L.T. (Student Athlete Leadership Training), and the Girls Basketball Team Manager.  On the field, she made varsity as a freshman, Rookie of the Year Award winner, Team Co-Captain 2018 and 2nd Team All Area 2018.   She also helps coach first time softball players and instructs young pitchers.   

Grace “Sobe” Sobieski (2019) Commits to St Leo!!!

Sobe is a switch hitter/slapper- utility player.  She attends St. Charles North High School and plays for Coach Tom Poulin and Coach Thijs Dennison.  She lives in St. Charles and is a proud member of the 18u Dennison Silver Hawks.  She is committed to continuing her education and her softball career at St. Leo University, St. Leo, Florida.

Grace started as a catcher/pitcher at Wasco Girls Fastpitch Softball League at a young age.  Eventually, she left the mound for the middle infield and as an outfielder.  Grace became a slapper after discovering the advantages of power slaps, drag bunts, soft slaps, and along with her speed, equaled more success for her team.  She is an eloquent leader and with her experience as a youth umpire, instructor, and softball camp volunteer, her knowledge of the game is expansive.  

Grace was chosen as a 2015 USSSA State tourney "All Tournament Player," 2016 USSSA 1st place, National Championship Offensive MVP, 2016 Select 30 Elite All American 2nd team, where they beat the 1st team at the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, AL. 2017 Regional 4A Champs (St. Charles North HS), 2017 Super Sectional 4A State, St. Charles HS, and 2018 Regional 4A Champions (St. Charles North HS).

As a tribute to her grandfather, a Captain with the Chicago Fire Department, Grace spent 6 years raising money for American Lung Cancer, "Fight for Air", as well as The Wounded Warrior Project, The Susan G. Komen Foundation and Patriotpaws.org.  Grace thanks her family of 6, her coaching staff at the Dennison Silver Hawks, as well as St. Charles North and her past/current teammates for making her who she is today and who she can be.  Most importantly, she'd like to thank Jesus Christ.  She is excited to call herself a Lion!

Alyssa Kramer (2019) COMMITS TO WESTERN MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY!!!

Alyssa Kramer, a junior at Geneva High School, has committed to play softball at Western Michigan University starting in the fall of 2019. She plans to pursue a degree in biomedical sciences. Alyssa is a 7-position utility player for 16U Dennison Silver Hawks and Geneva High School. Alyssa helped lead the Vikings to their first ever conference championship in 2017. Some of her athletic achievements include: Beacon-News 2017 Softball All-Area Team, Daily Herald Fox Valley All-Area Team Honorable Mention (2017), and Upstate Eight Conference, All-Conference Honorable Mention (2017). She is a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, Bee Club, and Key Club.

CAM MOSHER (2018) COMMITS TO IPFW!

Camryn Mosher will be attending Purdue Fort Wayne to continue both my academic and athletic career this fall. She is aiming to major in Biology to hopefully end up somewhere in the medical field as an Optometrist! Her primary position is catcher, but she can play both 1st and 3rd just as well. She lives in Plainfield, IL and graduated from Plainfield South High School. Other than softball, she likes to spend my time hanging out with family and friends as much as she can! 

HANNAH COZZI (2018) COMMITS TO MARIAN UNIVERSITY!!!

Hannah Cozzi will be attending Marian University in Fondu lac Wisconsin where she will be continuing her softball career and majoring in business. She has earned Kane County Chronicle’s player of the week, along with all conference honorable mention. She ended High school with a 4.0 GPA. 

AERIN MOBERG (2018) COMMITS TO WISCONSIN LUTHERAN COLLEGE!

Aerin Moberg will be attending Wisconsin Lutheran College in the fall of 2018. Aerin is an infielder/outfielder for the 18U Silverhawks and Wheaton Warrenville South HS. Aerin took advantage of her speed and converted to a lefty slap hitter during her sophomore season leading to her 2018 Offensive Player of the Year award at WWSHS and finishing her Jr. and Sr. years a combined perfect 55/55 in stolen bases.  During her high school career Aerin's achievements also include: 2018 DuPage Valley Conference Unanimous All-Conference, 2018 All-Area Honorable Mention, 2017 DVC All-Conference Honorable Mention, WWSHS 2018 Offensive & Defensive Player of the Year, WWSHS 4yr Varsity award, 4 year DVC Academic All-Conferece while she maintained an accumulative GPA of 3.7/4.0.  Aerin plans on majoring in nursing.

MADDIE CANDRE (2018) COMMITS TO UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN-STEVENS POINT!!!

Maddie Candre, a senior at St. Charles East High School, committed to play softball at University of Wisconsin Stevenspoint this fall of 2018. Maddie is a centerfielder for both her high school team and the Silver hawks. Her high school accomplishments include 2016 Kane County Chronicle 2nd Team All Area,  2017 Upstate Eight All Conference, and 2017 Kane County Chronicle 1st Team All Area. Maddie maintained an accumulative GPA of 4.1/5.0 and plans on majoring in Criminal Justice.

SARA CAMPAGNA (2018) COMMITS TO KENYON COLLEGE!!!

Sara Campagna, a senior at St Charles East High School, has committed to play softball at Kenyon College starting in the fall of 2018. Sara is a catcher and also plays 1st and 3rd base for both the Silverhawks and St Charles East. Her high school accomplishments include Academic All-Conference for the 2016 and 2017 seasons. She is also a member of National Honors Society and SALT at East. Throughout high school, Sara has maintained an accumulative GPA of 5.48/5 and plans on majoring in mathematics.

ANNA LANG (2018) COMMITS TO MINNESOTA STATE MOORHEAD!!!

Anna Lang, A senior at New Berlin Eisenhower, Has committed to continue her academic and Softball career at Minnesota State University Moorhead starting in the fall of 2018. Anna Is a pitcher and outfielder for the 18U Silver Hawks and Eisenhower High School. Her High School Accomplishments include 2016 first team all-conference, 2016 honorable mention all suburban, 2017 junior captain and 2017 first team all conference. Anna has maintained an accumulative GPA of 3.3 through high school.

ALI DIERKS (2018) COMMITS TO DEPAUW UNIVERSITY

Ali Dierks, a senior at Geneva High School, has committed to play softball at DePauw University starting in the fall of 2018. Ali is an infielder and a pitcher for the 18U Silverhawks and Geneva High School. Her high school accomplishments include 2016  All Conference Honorable Mention and 2017 First Team All Conference. During the 2017 high school season, Ali helped lead Geneva softball to their first conference championship and ended with a pitching record of 6-0 in conference and 11-2 overall. Throughout high school, Ali has maintained an accumulative GPA of 3.57 and plans on majoring in psychology

SHELBY WINKELMAN (2018) COMMITS TO ROCKHURST UNIVERSITY!!!

Shelby Winkelman, a senior at St. Francis College Preparatory High School, has committed to play softball at Rockhurst University starting in the fall of 2018. Shelby Winkelman is a pitcher and infielder for the 18U Silverhawks and St. Francis High School. Her high school accomplishments include 2016 Athlete of the year and 2017 All conference Honorable Mention. Throughout high school, Shelby has maintained an accumulative GPA of 3.8 and plans on majoring in Criminal Justice.  

TAYLOR ROTONDO (2018) COMMITS TO ST. AMBROSE UNIVERSITY!!!

Taylor Rotondo, a junior at Bartlett High School, has committed to play softball at St. Ambrose University starting in the fall of 2018. She plans to pursue a degree in nursing. 
 
Taylor catches and plays first base on her high school team and the Bartlett Silverhawks. During Taylor's high school softball seasons she has been named All- Conference (2016,2017), All-Area (2016), and All-State 3rd Team (2016). 
 
Throughout high school Taylor has maintained a 3.5 GPA. She is a part of PE Leading, Face Club, and Class Council. 

MARY BEAN (2018) COMMITS TO UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN INDIANA!!!

Mary Bean, a junior at Hoffman Estates High School, has committed to play softball at the University of Southern Indiana starting in the fall of 2018.

Mary is a 3 time letter winner in softball and basketball, All-Area Special Mention, and member of the National Honor Society.

Last travel season, Mary hit 9 home-runs 25/27 stolen bases, 46 RBIs and batted 0.371.

Mary says, "I visited USI and immediately fell in love with the coaches, team, campus and biology program".

MACKENZIE TUCKER (2018) COMMITS TO CLEVELAND STATE UNIVERSITY!!!

MacKenzie Tucker, a junior at Maine South High School, has made her commitment to Cleveland State University and will begin her college career in the Fall of 2018.  MacKenzie is a two time Scout Softball All American selection in 2015 & 2016.  Her team won the Scout Softball All American championship in 2016. Mackenzie went 2-3 with a run scored in the championship game.  MacKenzie is a member of the National Honor Society, Junior P.E. Leader and a member of the Maine South High School swim team.  MacKenzie plans on majoring in either Chemistry or Engineering at Cleveland State University.

MADDIE ROG (2017) COMMITS TO WARTBURG COLLEGE!!!

Maddie Rog, a senior at Maine South High School, has committed to play softball at Wartburg College starting in the fall of 2017. Due to the wonderful coaches, players, academic resources, and town Wartburg is in, Maddie felt this was the best fit school for her. Maddie plans to pursue a degree in the medical or science field.

Maddie hits, plays 2nd base, and pitches for her high school and for her travel team, the Bartlett Silver Hawks. Maddie Rog is a 3 year starting varsity pitcher for her high school. With her ERA and strikeout to walk ration being one of the best in the conference at 1.04 and 57-17, she was awarded all-conference player in her junior year at Maine South. During her season she also hit 2 homeruns, had a batting average of .333, and kept a 3.1 / 4 GPA. Maddie pitched the entire game that led Maine South to their first conference win since 2006.

Academically Maddie achieved straight A’s her Junior year at Maine South. Throughout all 4 years of high school Maddie also participated in Hawk Links. This is a program that aids transfer students. She was picked by her counselor to be a leader in the program and help transfer students with classes, making friends, and feeling welcome at Maine South.

Natalie Klingberg (2017) commits to Grace College

Natalie Klingberg, a senior at Crown Point High School, has committed to continue her athletic career at Grace College while pursuing a Nursing degree in the fall of 2017. Natalie is 4 year varsity member of the CPHS softball team. She spends the majority of her time at third base. Throughout her time in high school, she has helped lead her team to 2 sectional champion titles, 1 regional champion title, and 3 DAC champion title. Natalie has also been a part of the Silverhawks program for 4 years. Academically, Natalie has a 3.8/4.0 GPA and has been recognized as a scholar athlete. She participates in NHS, Best Buddies, Interact, Code Red, and Habitat for Humanity.

BRITTANY THOMAS (2017) COMMITS TO SOUTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY!!!

Brittany Thomas, lefty slapping outfielder for the Bartlett Silverhawks 18u Dennison and four year varsity starter for Yorkville High School, has committed to play for the Southeastern University Fire in Lakeland, Florida beginning fall of 2017. Brittany was new to the Silverhawks in 2016, and in her first fall season she batted over .500. Brittany is a high energy player on and off the field who prides herself on being the best teammate possible. She is looking forward to earning her degree in Pre-Physical Therapy and can't wait to get into the Fire.

Toni Tortorella (2017) Commits to Illinois Wesleyan University!

Toni Tortorella, a senior at Maine South High School, has committed to play softball at Illinois Wesleyan University starting in the fall of 2017. Toni plans to pursue a degree in nursing.

Toni is a 3 year varsity starter and 2 year captain for the Hawks. During her junior season, Toni had a batting average of .333, a .459 on base percentage, a .859 on base plus slugging percentage, and a .903 fielding percentage. Toni led the Hawks to clinch their first conference championship in 10 years. Toni started in every game for the Hawks in 2016. Toni’s starts were mainly at second base, but she also had starts at third base.

In addition to success on the diamond, Toni is a member of the Spanish National Honor Society and is a chosen member of the Student Athlete Athletic Council at Maine South. Toni has been a member of the CSL leadership conference for two years, one as a participant and one as a mentor. Toni was also recognized as one of the top 10 P.E. leaders in 2016.

Sydney Bajusz (2017) Commits to Clevend State University!

Sydney Bajusz is a senior at Metea Valley High School were she has started on Varsity since her freshman year. Sydney will be continuing her softball career at Cleveland State University while pursuing a degree in Physical Therapy. 

Throughout high school Sydney has maintained a GPA of 4.5/4.0 along with participating in various extracurricular activities. She is a member of Key Club, PE Leaders, and Fresh Connect while holding a part time job as a Director of First Impressions at 18/8 Fine Men's Salon. 

During Sydney's High school softball seasons she has been named Academic All Conference (2015,2016), Upstate 8 All Conference (2015), DuPage Valley All Conference (2016), and was a member of the Naperville All City Team (2016). 

 

Natalie Walters (2017) Commits to Hillsdale College!

Natalie Walters, a right-handed pitcher for the Silverhawks and a sprinter for the Saint Charles North high school track team, has signed with the Hillsdale Chargers to play softball in 2017. Pitching last season Natalie held her opponents to a batting average of 241 with 118 strikeouts, while she batted 525 with 46 RBIs. Natalie says "Hillsdale College has a great D2 softball program, but I chose the school for their academic standing and great coaches".
 

Ashley McCance (2017) Commits to Minnosota State Moorhead!

Ashley McCance a first basemen from Oswego high school, has signed with the MSUM Dragons to play softball in 2017 while pursing a degree in Nursing. Last high school season Ashley had 25 RBIs and a .370 average. Ashley is also well involved with her high school's Visual Arts department and has had 3D pieces presented in several art shows such as, the Chicagoland 4x5 hosted by OHS and the I Heart Art hosted by Batavia Fine arts Center. Ashley says,"Immediately when I walked on campus I knew this is where I wanted to be and what I wanted to be apart of.

Kristina Ahlers (2017) Commits to Winona State University!

Kristina Ahlers is a senior shortstop  at Burlington Central High School and utility player for the Bartlett Silverhawks who has committed to play softball at Winona State University. She will be pursuing a degree in biology in hopes of entering the medical field as a career. 
Her junior year Kristina batted .570 with 12 home runs, giving her 19 varsity career home runs. She has helped lead Burlington to the first round Sectionals and a Sectional Championship for the past two seasons.
A varsity starter since freshman year,  she has been a First and Second Team All-Area Selection, 2014-2015 All Conference Selection, 2015 Second Team All-State Selection, and was named in the Chicago Tribune Top 20 players 2016. 
Academically, Kristina has earned the IHSA Student Athlete Award for the past three years, and was an All-Conference Scholar Athlete in 2016. She will be graduating in 2017 to join the Winona State softball program. 

Natalie Magnus (2017) Commits to Bellarmine University!

Natalie Magnus, a senior at Whitney Young Magnet High School, has committed to play softball for Bellarmine University (Louisville, Kentucky) in the fall of 2017 while pursuing a degree in physical therapy. Natalie is a pitcher, 1st baseman, and outfielder for both the SilverHawks and her high school team. In this past high school season, Natalie pitched in the City Championship and led the team to the school's first City Championship in school history. Throughout her high school career, Natalie has maintained a 4.65 out of 4 GPA.

Kayla Quanstrum (2017) commits to Truman State University!

Kayla Quanstrum, a senior at Glenbard North High School, has committed to play softball at Truman State University in the fall of 2017 while pursuing a degree in education. 
 
Kayla is a short stop and second baseman for both her high school team and the Bartlett Silverhawks. She has been a 3 year varsity starter and as a freshmen her team finished 3rd in state. She has been named all conference for two consecutive years and this past season was named MVP. 
 
Kayla is a member of the J. Kyle braid Foundation and is a link crew commissioner. She has also been a member of the Organization for Latin American Students as well as a two year Family Career Community Leaders of America member. 
 

Elyse Hickey (2017) Commits to the University of Evansville!

Elyse Hickey, a power hitting lefty who plays the corners for both Silver Hawks 18U Dennison and Bartlett High School, has committed to attend and play for The University of Evansville Purple Aces in Indiana.

Along with the five years of success with the Silver Hawks family, Elyse has excelled at the high school level. In just her sophomore year, she was Academic All-Conference, First Team All-Conference, Third Team All-State, All-Area, and Bartlett HS Team MVP.

Academically, Elyse has continuously been an Honor Roll Student with an ACT score of 30. With her sights set on a career in Elementary Education, she will graduate in 2017 and join the Purple Aces in the fall.

Mariah Dionne (2017) commits to Southeastern University!

Mariah Dionne, a Junior at Marengo Community High School, has verbally committed to Southeastern University and plans to continue her education there in the fall of 2017 to study sports management.

Mariah has gone two consecutive years holding the Big Northern All conference Pitcher of the year award. Freshman year she was awarded with Northwest Herald Honorable mention. Sophomore year her High school team went down to state at East Peoria, IL and took 2nd. That year she was awarded with Northwest Herald first team and player of the year and also made the 3A All State First team.

Her most recent stats from 2014-2015 season; ERA:1.82, Batting: Average- .455,  12 homeruns, 49 RBI’s with 10 doubles.

Mariah Cura (2017) Commits to Davenport University

Mariah Cura, a senior at Plainfield South High School, signed her letter of intent to play softball at Davenport University on November 9, 2016. At Plainfield South, Mariah is a gold glove center fielder who received all-conference honors for her play in the Southwest Prairie Conference in 2016. Mariah was also honored as the MVP for Plainfield South this past season.

Mariah is also a member of the Bartlett Silver Hawks 18U fastpitch travel softball team. In addition to playing center field for the Silver Hawks, Mariah is a utility infielder. The Silver Hawks are a highly-competitive Chicago-based travel program committed to “College Exposure, College Recruitment, College Prep”.

Mariah finds time to help coach her sister’s travel softball team and is excited to begin her studies in physical therapy on the beautiful campus of Davenport University in the Fall of 2017. Go Panthers!

Samantha Burgard (2017) Commits to Purdue University Northwest

Samantha Burgard, a Junior at Crystal Lake South High School, has verbally committed to Purdue Northwest and plans to continue her education there in the fall of 2017.  Samantha looks forward to earning her degree in secondary education with a concentration in physics/chemistry.

Samantha is a pitcher and plays 1st base for both Crystal Lake South High School and the Bartlett Silverhawks.  In addition to Samanthas' success on the mound, last H.S. season, she was second on the team offensively with 7 home runs and 24 RBI's, while finishing top 3 in 6 out of 10 offensive categories.

Academically, Samantha has continuously been an Honor Roll Student.  She is also a Physical Education leader for Adaptive Physical Education.

Toni Galas (2017) Commits to the University of Evansville!

Toni Galas, lefty slapping center fielder for the Bartlett SilverHawks 18U Dennison and three year Batavia Varsity High School starter, has committed to play for Evansville University in Indiana beginning fall of 2017.

Toni excels both on and off the field, being named All Conference Athletic and All Conference Academic by consistently leading her teams in on base percentage, runs scored and stolen bases, while maintaining a 4.0 GPA. Toni looks forward to earning her degree in secondary education with a mathematics concentration while contributing to the success of the Purple Aces program at Evansville.

Peyton De Chant (2017) Commits to University of Loyola, Chicago

Peyton De Chant, a Junior at Hampshire High School, verbally committed as a Sophomore in the fall of 2014,  to play softball at the University of Loyola, Chicago.  Peyton was recruited primarily as a Catcher and corner infield athlete for the Ramblers.  She plays Catcher, SS and Corners for both Hampshire High School and the Bartlett Silver Hawks. 

Peyton has been a Varsity softball starter for the Whip-Purs as a Freshmen and was selected as a 2014 first Team All-Conference player and a First Team All-Area Selection. She hit .529 with 10 homeruns as a Freshman and lead the area in RBI’s with 51.  She helped lead the Whip-Purs to their first ever Fox Valley Conference, Fox Division Co-Championship as a Freshman.  In 2015, she was an  All-Conference selection and Honorable Mention All-Area selection.  The Northwest Herald acknowledged her as one of the top area athletes to watch in 2015.

Annika Radabaugh (2017) Commits to University of Indianapolis!

Annika Radabaugh, corner infielder and outfielder for the Bartlett Silverhawks 18u and Geneva High School, has committed to play for the University of Indianapolis Greyhounds beginning fall of 2017. 

In spring of 2014, Annika set a new single season home run record for Geneva High School with 11 home runs, and was First Team All Conference and First Team All Area. She was named one of the Top 100 Softball Players in the Chicagoland Area in 2015, and that spring was Academic All Conference, First Team All Conference, and Second Team All State. 

Rylee Stout (2017) Commits to Winona State University!

Rylee Stout, a catcher and 3rd basemen plays for St Charles East  and the Silver Hawks 18U team.  She committed this Fall to play for the Winona State Warriors in Winona, MN in 2017.

In 2015 Rylee received 1st team All Conference, 1st team All Area and 2nd Team All State as a catcher.  She helped St Charles East in 2015 with a .685 slugging percentage, 7 home runs, 8 doubles and 35 RBI’s.

Bailee Krantz, A senior at Somonauk high school, has committed to play softball for Elmhurst College in the fall of 2016 while pursuing a career in nursing.

Bailee, a 4yr varsity team and 3yr captain has been the starting pitcher all 4yrs with secondary positions of 2nd and 3rd base. During her high school career she received three-time Little10 all-conference unanimous, 2014 1A ICA All-state 3rd team pitcher, 2015 1A ICA All-state 2nd team pitcher, 2014 Beacon News honorable mention, 2014/2015 Ottawa times all area first team pitcher, 2015/2016 Beacon News top 20 players to watch, 2015 IHSA 1A State team 2nd place.

In addition to playing softball Bailee was a member of the National Honor Society, Student Council 4yrs, Peer Mentor 3yrs, member of WYSE academic team and an Illinois State Scholar.

Justine Cielenski (2016) Commits to Texas Wesleyan University!

Justine Cielenski, a senior at Lockport Township High School, has committed to play softball for Texas Wesleyan University. She is a pitcher, slapper and also plays outfield.  She has committed for pitching and slapping/hitting for the Rams. While attending Texas Wesleyan she hopes to become a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader throughout her four years. She will be trying out for Cowboys Cheerleading on May 14th 2016, with the approval/support of the TWU coach staff and University. 

In 2011 she took her junior high team (Oak Prairie) to state, won the title, and tied the record for the most strikeouts in a state championship game. In 2012 she was skills winner USSSA for Pitching Velocity, and runner up for base running.  2015 Selected for high school all star team. 

Justine is a two sport athlete and has been a cheerleader for the Lockport porters all four years of high school. Her high school cheer team took first place in 2013 and 14 in the IHSA State Large Division.  In 2015 won IHSA State Runner-up for Large Division and in 2016 her cheer team took home the Sectional title.  In 2016 she was named All American Cheerleader by Illinois High School Cheer Association. 

Stefanie Guercio (2016) commits to Southeastern University!

Stefanie Guercio, a pitcher for the Bartlett Silverhawks 18u and Maine South High School has committed to play for the Southeastern University Fire. Last summer (2015), Stefanie pitched the first 84 innings of the season without giving up an earned run. Along with her accomplishments on the softball field, Stefanie excels in the classroom and volunteers coaching a local house league softball team.

Meg Cohrs (2016) Commits to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater!

Meg Cohrs has committed to play for the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater beginning in the Fall of 2016. Meg plays 3rd base and Shortstop for Kaneland High School and the Silverhawks.

In addition to playing softball at Kaneland High, Meg is a member of the National Honor Society and High Honor Roll.

On the softball field, Meg was a 2015 All-Conference, IHSA First Team All-State, and NFCA All-Region Midwest Second Team. Meg batted clean-up for Kaneland High which finished in 3rd Place for the IHSA 2015 Class 3A state tourney.

Sarah Murray (2016) Commits to Cornell University!

Sarah Murray, a middle infielder and outfielder for the Silver Hawks and Jacobs High School, has committed to play softball at the Ivy League institution Cornell University in Ithaca, NY beginning in the Fall of 2016.

Off the field, Sarah has maintained a 4.0 GPA in the classroom and achieved a 33 ACT. She is a member of National Honor Society, Interact, and Care for a Cure Club. Additionally, she is Spanish peer tutor and a Physical Education leader for freshmen.

Sarah has been on Jacobs Varsity Softball since her freshman year, was named All Conference in 2015, and All Area in 2013 and 2015.

Alyssa Nowak (2016) Commits to DePauw University!

Alyssa Nowak has committed to play for DePauw University beginning in the Fall of 2016. Alyssa plays outfield, pitches, and 1st base for Bartlett High School and the Silverhawks.

In addition to playing softball and volleyball at Bartlett High, Alyssa maintains a high GPA while enrolled in honors classes. She is also a member of the class council.

On the softball field, Alyssa was a 2015 First Team All-Area selection for Bartlett High. As a junior outfielder, she led the Hawks to 21-11 record with seven home runs, 33 RBIs, 11 doubles, .411 batting average, and .747 slugging percentage.

Megan LoBianco (2016) Commits to St. Louis University!

Megan LoBianco, an infielder and catcher for Downers Grove South High School and the Silverhawks-Dennison 18U team, has committed to play for the St. Louis University Billikens beginning in the Fall of 2016.

In 2015, Megan received 2nd Team All-State and All-Conference honors while playing for Downers Grove South. In the classroom, she excels as a Honor Roll student and National Honor Society recipient.

Amanda James (2016) Commits to Saint Leo University!

Amanda James, a catcher and infielder for the Bartlett Silver Hawks 18U-Dennison team, has committed to play for the Saint Leo Lions in Saint Leo, Florida.

Sarah Pauscher (2016) Commits to St. Leo University!

Sarah Pauscher, an infielder for the Silver Hawks 18U and Elk Grove High School, has committed to play for St Leo University.

On the softball field, Sarah was all-conference, all-area, and 2nd team all-state in 2015. Sarah broke her high school's home run record as a junior, finishing with 19 home runs.

Sarah will graduate from Elk Grove High School in 2016 and continue her softball career at St Leo University!

Sarah also plays on the varsity basketball team. Sarah will join Amanda James, Silver Hawk teammate, at St. Leo.

Katie Kolb (2016) Commits to Winona State University!

Katie Kolb, an outfielder for the Silver Hawks 18U and St. Charles East High School, has committed to play for Winona State University. At St. Charles East, Katie is an athletic trainer, PE Leader, and received the 2015 Community Relations Award.

On the softball field, Katie was All-Conference in 2013 and 2014 and a member of the 2013 St. Charles East softball team which earned 2nd place in the 4A IHSA State Tournament.

Katie will graduate from St. Charles East in 2016 and continue her softball career at Winona State University!
