Bailee Krantz, A senior at Somonauk high school, has committed to play softball for Elmhurst College in the fall of 2016 while pursuing a career in nursing.
Bailee, a 4yr varsity team and 3yr captain has been the starting pitcher all 4yrs with secondary positions of 2nd and 3rd base. During her high school career she received three-time Little10 all-conference unanimous, 2014 1A ICA All-state 3rd team pitcher, 2015 1A ICA All-state 2nd team pitcher, 2014 Beacon News honorable mention, 2014/2015 Ottawa times all area first team pitcher, 2015/2016 Beacon News top 20 players to watch, 2015 IHSA 1A State team 2nd place.
In addition to playing softball Bailee was a member of the National Honor Society, Student Council 4yrs, Peer Mentor 3yrs, member of WYSE academic team and an Illinois State Scholar.
Mariah Dionne, a Junior at Marengo Community High School, has verbally committed to Southeastern University and plans to continue her education there in the fall of 2017 to study sports management.
Mariah has gone two consecutive years holding the Big Northern All conference Pitcher of the year award. Freshman year she was awarded with Northwest Herald Honorable mention. Sophomore year her High school team went down to state at East Peoria, IL and took 2nd. That year she was awarded with Northwest Herald first team and player of the year and also made the 3A All State First team.
Her most recent stats from 2014-2015 season; ERA:1.82, Batting: Average- .455, 12 homeruns, 49 RBI’s with 10 doubles.

Samantha Burgard, a Junior at Crystal Lake South High School, has verbally committed to Purdue University Calumet and plans to continue her education there in the fall of 2017. Samantha looks forward to earning her degree in secondary education with a concentration in physics/chemistry.
Samantha is a pitcher and plays 1st base for both Crystal Lake South High School and the Bartlett Silverhawks. In addition to Samanthas' success on the mound, last H.S. season, she was second on the team offensively with 7 home runs and 24 RBI's, while finishing top 3 in 6 out of 10 offensive categories.
Academically, Samantha has continuously been an Honor Roll Student. She is also a Physical Education leader for Adaptive Physical Education.
Toni Galas, lefty slapping center fielder for the Bartlett SilverHawks 18U Dennison and three year Batavia Varsity High School starter, has committed to play for Evansville University in Indiana beginning fall of 2017.
Toni excels both on and off the field, being named All Conference Athletic and All Conference Academic by consistently leading her teams in on base percentage, runs scored and stolen bases, while maintaining a 4.0 GPA. Toni looks forward to earning her degree in secondary education with a mathematics concentration while contributing to the success of the Purple Aces program at Evansville.
Justine Cielenski, a senior at Lockport Township High School, has committed to play softball for Texas Wesleyan University. She is a pitcher, slapper and also plays outfield. She has committed for pitching and slapping/hitting for the Rams. While attending Texas Wesleyan she hopes to become a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader throughout her four years. She will be trying out for Cowboys Cheerleading on May 14th 2016, with the approval/support of the TWU coach staff and University.
In 2011 she took her junior high team (Oak Prairie) to state, won the title, and tied the record for the most strikeouts in a state championship game. In 2012 she was skills winner USSSA for Pitching Velocity, and runner up for base running. 2015 Selected for high school all star team.
Justine is a two sport athlete and has been a cheerleader for the Lockport porters all four years of high school. Her high school cheer team took first place in 2013 and 14 in the IHSA State Large Division. In 2015 won IHSA State Runner-up for Large Division and in 2016 her cheer team took home the Sectional title. In 2016 she was named All American Cheerleader by Illinois High School Cheer Association.
Peyton De Chant, a Junior at Hampshire High School, verbally committed as a Sophomore in the fall of 2014, to play softball at the University of Loyola, Chicago. Peyton was recruited primarily as a Catcher and corner infield athlete for the Ramblers. She plays Catcher, SS and Corners for both Hampshire High School and the Bartlett Silver Hawks.
Peyton has been a Varsity softball starter for the Whip-Purs as a Freshmen and was selected as a 2014 first Team All-Conference player and a First Team All-Area Selection. She hit .529 with 10 homeruns as a Freshman and lead the area in RBI’s with 51. She helped lead the Whip-Purs to their first ever Fox Valley Conference, Fox Division Co-Championship as a Freshman. In 2015, she was an All-Conference selection and Honorable Mention All-Area selection. The Northwest Herald acknowledged her as one of the top area athletes to watch in 2015.
Annika Radabaugh, corner infielder and outfielder for the Bartlett Silverhawks 18u and Geneva High School, has committed to play for the University of Indianapolis Greyhounds beginning fall of 2017.
In spring of 2014, Annika set a new single season home run record for Geneva High School with 11 home runs, and was First Team All Conference and First Team All Area. She was named one of the Top 100 Softball Players in the Chicagoland Area in 2015, and that spring was Academic All Conference, First Team All Conference, and Second Team All State.
Rylee Stout, a catcher and 3rd basemen plays for St Charles East and the Silver Hawks 18U team. She committed this Fall to play for the Winona State Warriors in Winona, MN in 2017.
In 2015 Rylee received 1st team All Conference, 1st team All Area and 2nd Team All State as a catcher. She helped St Charles East in 2015 with a .685 slugging percentage, 7 home runs, 8 doubles and 35 RBI’s.
Stefanie Guercio, a pitcher for the Bartlett Silverhawks 18u and Maine South High School has committed to play for the Southeastern University Fire. Last summer (2015), Stefanie pitched the first 84 innings of the season without giving up an earned run. Along with her accomplishments on the softball field, Stefanie excels in the classroom and volunteers coaching a local house league softball team.
Meg Cohrs has committed to play for the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater beginning in the Fall of 2016. Meg plays 3rd base and Shortstop for Kaneland High School and the Silverhawks.
In addition to playing softball at Kaneland High, Meg is a member of the National Honor Society and High Honor Roll.
On the softball field, Meg was a 2015 All-Conference, IHSA First Team All-State, and NFCA All-Region Midwest Second Team. Meg batted clean-up for Kaneland High which finished in 3rd Place for the IHSA 2015 Class 3A state tourney.
Elyse Hickey, a power hitting lefty who plays the corners for both Silver Hawks 18U Dennison and Bartlett High School, has committed to attend and play for The University of Evansville Purple Aces in Indiana.
Along with the five years of success with the Silver Hawks family, Elyse has excelled at the high school level. In just her sophomore year, she was Academic All-Conference, First Team All-Conference, Third Team All-State, All-Area, and Bartlett HS Team MVP.
Academically, Elyse has continuously been an Honor Roll Student with an ACT score of 30. With her sights set on a career in Elementary Education, she will graduate in 2017 and join the Purple Aces in the fall.
Sarah Murray, a middle infielder and outfielder for the Silver Hawks and Jacobs High School, has committed to play softball at the Ivy League institution Cornell University in Ithaca, NY beginning in the Fall of 2016.
Off the field, Sarah has maintained a 4.0 GPA in the classroom and achieved a 33 ACT. She is a member of National Honor Society, Interact, and Care for a Cure Club. Additionally, she is Spanish peer tutor and a Physical Education leader for freshmen.
Sarah has been on Jacobs Varsity Softball since her freshman year, was named All Conference in 2015, and All Area in 2013 and 2015.
Alyssa Nowak has committed to play for DePauw University beginning in the Fall of 2016. Alyssa plays outfield, pitches, and 1st base for Bartlett High School and the Silverhawks.
In addition to playing softball and volleyball at Bartlett High, Alyssa maintains a high GPA while enrolled in honors classes. She is also a member of the class council.
On the softball field, Alyssa was a 2015 First Team All-Area selection for Bartlett High. As a junior outfielder, she led the Hawks to 21-11 record with seven home runs, 33 RBIs, 11 doubles, .411 batting average, and .747 slugging percentage.
Megan LoBianco, an infielder and catcher for Downers Grove South High School and the Silverhawks-Dennison 18U team, has committed to play for the St. Louis University Billikens beginning in the Fall of 2016.
In 2015, Megan received 2nd Team All-State and All-Conference honors while playing for Downers Grove South. In the classroom, she excels as a Honor Roll student and National Honor Society recipient.
Amanda James, a catcher and infielder for the Bartlett Silver Hawks 18U-Dennison team, has committed to play for the Saint Leo Lions in Saint Leo, Florida.
Sarah Pauscher, an infielder for the Silver Hawks 18U and Elk Grove High School, has committed to play for St Leo University.
On the softball field, Sarah was all-conference, all-area, and 2nd team all-state in 2015. Sarah broke her high school's home run record as a junior, finishing with 19 home runs.
Sarah will graduate from Elk Grove High School in 2016 and continue her softball career at St Leo University!
Sarah also plays on the varsity basketball team. Sarah will join Amanda James, Silver Hawk teammate, at St. Leo.
Katie Kolb, an outfielder for the Silver Hawks 18U and St. Charles East High School, has committed to play for Winona State University. At St. Charles East, Katie is an athletic trainer, PE Leader, and received the 2015 Community Relations Award.
On the softball field, Katie was All-Conference in 2013 and 2014 and a member of the 2013 St. Charles East softball team which earned 2nd place in the 4A IHSA State Tournament.
Katie will graduate from St. Charles East in 2016 and continue her softball career at Winona State University!
